If you need advice, please contact the reception team eight weeks before you are due to travel, giving your date of travel, details of where you are visiting and the type of accommodation you are staying in. You will need to make an appointment to see a practice nurse one week later to discuss the details of the immunisations needed and the approximate costs, as some immunisations and vaccinations are not available on the NHS.

The charges vary; some cost over £100 (standard rate of VAT applies). Payment for the vaccinations required will be expected when you visit the nurse, prior to your vaccination appointment.

Note that in order ensure adequate cover you may need to start your course six weeks in advance of your holiday.
