Healthcare Assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Tor Martin-Siddall is the Operations Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the practice with a particular focus on the financial aspects of the business. She is supported in her role by Jane Cartwright who is Senior Receptionist.
We have a dedicated team of reception staff who are here to help you. They make appointments, take messages, help with general enquiries and aim to offer a first class service to you.
The practice secretary will make sure the doctors’ referrals are sent promptly to the hospital or other referred services.
