NHS Walk-in Centre

An NHS walk-in centre is located at Whitworth Hospital, on the A6 between Darley Dale and Matlock. The centre is used to treat minor injuries and provide care and advice outside of normal surgery hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays. They offer a service between 08:00 and 22:00. Please telephone 01629 593003 for further information or contact NHS 111.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
